WORTH NOTING
1. Iowa State is 6-0 at home this season and is looking to finish with an unbeaten home non-conference record for the 17th time since 1980.
2. Steve Prohm is looking for his 70th win as Cyclone head coach...he would be the fourth-fastest to do so in school history if the Cyclones beat Eastern Illinois in what will be his 113th game...only Larry Eustachy (93 games), Tim Floyd (100 games) and Fred Hoiberg (109 games) have done it faster.
3. In its last three games, ISU is averaging 87.3 points and shooting 53.2 percent as a team.
4. Iowa State is hoping to welcome back Lindell Wigginton (foot) and Solomon Young (groin) into the rotation...both are expected to play Friday night.
5. Nick Weiler-Babb broke into ISU's career assist list and currently ranks 20th with 251 assists...Weiler-Babb needs two assists to pass Jeff Grayer and eight assists to move by Ron Harris...he also needs just 10 points to become the 12th player in school history to record 500 points, 300 rebounds and 250 assists in his career.
LAST TIME OUT: CYCLONES HOLD OFF DRAKE
• Iowa State used a 12-0 run in the second half to defeat Drake, 77-68, Saturday at the Hy-Vee Classic in Des Moines...the Cyclones shot just 44.8 percent from the field, their second-lowest percentage in a win this season (Missouri).
• Jacobson led the Cyclones with 22 points, including seven in a row during the 12-0 run...Jacobson was 9-for-12 from the field...he was joined in double figures by three other players...Shayok scored 18 points, 16 of which came in the second half...Horton-Tucker (15) and Weiler-Babb (13) also reached double digits.
