AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team will be back at Hilton Coliseum this Saturday for the Iowa State Volleyball Spring Tournament. The Cyclones will play two three-set matches at the three-team competition.
The Saturday schedule is as follows:
10 AM - Iowa State vs. Wayne State
11:45 AM - Wayne State vs. Drake
1:30 PM - Iowa State vs. Drake
Admission to the tournament is free, with the doors to Hilton Coliseum opening at 9:30 a.m. Only the South and lower West entrances will be open.
Iowa State will be utilizing Facebook Live to stream the matches involving the Cyclones. The links to the stream will be posted prior to the matches on the Iowa State Volleyball Facebook page, here. Updates on the Cyclones' matches will also be provided on Twitter, @CycloneVB.
The Cyclones opened the spring season last Thursday at Creighton, splitting the four sets contested between the two sides. ISU returns to the court this weekend with all available players, after Piper Mauck had to miss the tail end of the CU match due to a rolled ankle.
Wayne State, a Division II school out of Nebraska, went 19-12 last season. Drake is coming off of one of the best season's in recent memory, going 23-10 last season and making it to the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament for the first time since 2010.
