Chase Allen Named To Mackey Award Watch List

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State sophomore tight end Chase Allen was honored today when he was named to the Mackey Award watch list, announced today by the Mackey Awards Foundation.
The Mackey Award is given annually to nation's best tight end and is named after John Mackey, a member of the NFL's 50th Anniversary Team.
A native of Nixa, Mo., Allen started nine games at tight end while earning Second-Team All-Big 12 honors in 2017.
Allen is a preseason first-team All-Big 12 selection by Street & Smith's, Phil Steele and College Football News).
