1. The No. 21 Iowa State Volleyball team will be hosting a pair of matches at Hilton Coliseum this weekend. The Cyclones start off with an exhibition contest against South Dakota on Friday at 4 p.m. On Saturday, ISU will host its annual Cardinal and Gold Scrimmage, starting at 11 a.m. Admission is free to both matches, with tickets and reserved seating going into effect next weekend. 2. Due to work being done on the parking lots around Hilton Coliseum, there will be some changes to parking. Lot C1 is open, but can only be accessed via the new entryway from Lincoln Way or if coming from Center Drive, taking the road between CY Stephens/Fisher and the Scheman Building to access Lot C1. There will be limited handicapped parking available near the bottom of the West entrance. Lot C2 and the South Entrance (facing Jack Trice Stadium) are closed.
3. Fans can enter Hilton Coliseum either at the North Entrance (facing Lincoln Way) or the West Entrances, both upper and lower. Fans will able to receive infor regarding the new clear bag policy which will be going into effect at ticketed matches at Hilton Coliseum and Jack Trice Stadium this season.
The Coyotes finished 2017 with a 17-11 record, finishing third in the Summit League. USD will be led by junior outside hitter Hayley Dotseth, a Johnston, Iowa native who finished with 359 kills last season en route to First Team Summit League honors. The Cyclones and Coyotes played in the regular season in 2014, 2015 and 2016, with ISU winning all three in straight-sets.
