Cy's House of Trivia Set For April 13

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Athletics Department announced today the ever-popular Cy's House of Trivia will take place on Saturday evening, April 13 in Hilton Coliseum.
The event features eight rounds of interactive trivia with 10 questions each round (trivia categories cover anything from movies, history, geography, music, sports and more). Cyclone celebrities, coaches, former athletes and other special guests, will join in the fun and rotate throughout the evening as a "ninth player" helping trivia teams. The entry fee is $550 for a table of eight participants.
Trivia teams from 2018 receive first opportunity to renew their tables for this year's event. New teams have the chance to join in the fun by entering the lottery for five annual lottery tables. A $50 refundable deposit is required to join the lottery pool. Winning teams will be selected at random and anyone can enter (limit one entry per person). If selected, the $50 fee will be applied toward the $550 table cost.
Each year's "table lottery" winners receive the first opportunity to secure non-renewed tables the following year (if available). Priority is given to the order of the lottery selection. If all tables are renewed the following year, lottery winners will have to re-enter the "table lottery" each year.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages. The trivia contest begins at 6:30 p.m.
