WORTH NOTING
1. Iowa State has matched its win total (13) from a season ago and is looking to match its Big 12 win total (4) from last season.

• Iowa State matched the nation's top-ranked defensive team, Texas Tech, punch for punch and earned a big road win Wednesday evening in Lubbock...the Cyclones prevailed, 68-64, behind 41 first-half points...ISU's 41 points matched Duke for the most points scored in a half against TTU this season and the 68 points were one off Duke's total for a game against the Red Raiders.
• ISU controlled nearly every category, shooting 44.6 percent and holding the Red Raiders to 41.3 percent shooting...ISU also had an edge on the glass (39-37) and in blocks (6-5) and steals (6-4)...the Cyclones had just nine turnovers in the game, including zero in the opening half.
• Texas Tech leads the nation with opponents shooting just 40.3 percent on 2-point field goals...ISU shot 57.1 percent on them.
• Shayok led the Cyclones with 20 points, shooting 6-for-13 from the field and 3-of-6 behind the arc...Jacobson had 14 points and 10 boards, while Weiler-Babb and Wigginton each chipped in 11 points.
• ISU led for 28:16, increasing the lead to as many as 10 points in the second half...TTU tied the game at 61-61, but the Cyclones responded with a Weiler-Babb jumper and Wigginton layup...Shayok then iced the game with three free throws.

IOWA STATE-OKLAHOMA STATE SERIES NOTES
• Iowa State and Oklahoma State are meeting for the 130th time in series history, with OSU holding a 65-64 edge in the all-time series...ISU leads 39-15 in games played in Ames, including 27-12 at Hilton Coliseum...the Cyclones have won 11 of the last 13 meetings...the last 16 games in the series have been decided by an average of 5.6 points...four games have gone to OT in that stretch (3OT game and three overtime games).
