



AMES, Iowa - The 20th-ranked Iowa State women's basketball team (14-4, 4-2 Big 12) hits the road to take on No. 2 Baylor (15-1, 5-0 Big 12) on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. on FSSW. Iowa State is 7-26 all-time against the Lady Bears and 1-14 all-time in Waco. The Cyclones are looking for their first win at Baylor since topping BU 88-43 on Feb. 5, 1997. Wednesday's night's game marks the 12th time in the series history in which both teams are ranked. Baylor leads 9-2 in those games.

ISU is also ranked No. 20 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Iowa State has wins over two SEC teams (Auburn & Arkansas) and the ACC's Miami so far this season. The Cyclones rank second in the Big 12 in RPI.
- Bridget Carleton (1,740) is currently in sixth in school history in scoring, she is 49 points behind Tonya Burns in fifth (1,789). She is also just one rebound away from ranking in the top-10 in school history. She also ranks second all-time in career scoring average, at 16.3 points per game, tying Angie Welle (16.3).
- Carleton's 358 points on the season ranks 19th in the nation and her 19.9 points per game checks in at 23rd. She also ranks 20th in free throws made, with 85 on the year.
- Carleton, who is proving to be the NCAA's most versatile player, is one of just two power-5 players to lead their team in points, rebounds and assists and the only player to lead their team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.
- Iowa State has shined offensively this season, ranking 11th nationally in scoring margin, topping opponents by 19.6 points per game. ISU recently opened Big 12 play by dominating both Kansas State and TCU by 38 points each for the largest scoring margin in the history of each series.
