No. 29 Iowa State Women Ready For Nuttycombe

AMES, Iowa – The No. 29 Iowa State women will wrap up the regular season at the prestigious Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, Oct. 18 in Madison, Wis. The event will feature 20 out of the 30 teams ranked in the USTFCCCA National Rankings.
The Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course, which hosted the 2018 NCAA Championships, will once again be the stage for the Nuttycombe. The women's 6K "B" race will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the women's Championship Race at 12:20 p.m.
The Cyclones are coming off a 17th-place finish at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational two weeks ago, which also featured an extremely competetive field. Junior Cailie Logue paced ISU, finishing eighth place individually, which garnered Big 12 Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for the second time in the Erie, Kan., native's career.
