Kolar On John Mackey Award Watch List

AMES, Iowa – The John Mackey Award preseason watch list was announced today and sophomore Charlie Kolar is on the list.

The John Mackey Award is given annually to the nation's best tight end.

A native of Norman, Okla., Kolar was an All-Big 12 Second-Team selection in 2018 as ISU's go-to tight end.

Kolar had 11 catches for 137 yards in 2018, including three touchdowns, which ranked third on ISU's freshman list.
