2019 Cross Country Schedule Announced

AMES, Iowa – Today the Iowa State men's and women's cross country teams announced their 2019 schedules. The women's season begins on Friday, Sept. 6 at the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, while the men kick off their 2019 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind.
The women will travel to South Bend, Ind., on Friday, Oct. 4 for the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational. The regular season for both the men and women culminates at the prestigious Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational held in Maddison, Wisc., on Friday, Oct. 18.
Both the men's and women's programs are back-to-back defending Big 12 Champions. They will defend their crowns on Saturday, Nov. 2 in Waco, Texas at the 2019 Big 12 Championship. The postseason continues on Friday, Nov. 15 at the NCAA Midwest Regional, where both the men and women are also defending champions, in Stillwater, Okla.
This year's NCAA Cross Country Championships return to Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, Nov. 23.
