Iowa State to Host No. 18 Creighton in Exhibition

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team will take part in their final tune-up prior to the 2019 season when they host No. 18 Creighton in an exhibition contest Friday night at 6 p.m. inside Hilton Coliseum. Admission to the exhibition match is free.
Fans attending the match can enter at any of the regular entrances: North, South, Lower West and Upper West. With this being a non-ticketed event, the Ticket Office entrance on the Southwest corner will not be open. Parking pass rules will not be enforced until the regular season. There will be no live video or live stats for the match.
The Cyclones continue to polish up on their game heading into the season, and will be boosted by the return of junior middle blocker Candelaria Herrera, as the Argentinian completed her first week of practice after returning from international duty.
The Bluejays, the four-time defending Big EAST champions, are transitioning into a new era with a pair of All-Americans graduating from last season's squad. CU returns a pair of All-Big EAST performers in Madelyn Cole and Megan Ballenger, along with Big EAST Libero of the Year Brittany Witt. The Jays will start 2019 as the No. 18 team in the AVCA Preseason Coaches' Poll.
