• Iowa State fell to Baylor, 68-55, Wednesday evening in Waco...the Cyclones trailed just 30-25 at the half, but an early second half run propelled the Bears to the win.
• ISU had no players reach double figures...they were led by Prentiss Nixon (9) and Rasir Bolton (9)...Haliburton chipped in nine assists, eight rebounds and three steals to go along with six points.
• Baylor attempted 22 free throws, while Iowa State got to the line just six times.
• The loss was ISU's first this season when allowing 69 points or less.
IOWAÂ STATE-TEXAS TECH SERIESÂ NOTES
• Iowa State and Texas Tech are meeting for the 36th time...ISU owns a 20-15 edge in the series, but Tech leads 10-6 in games played in Lubbock...the Cyclones have won six of the last nine meetings, including four of the last six overall and two of the last three in Lubbock.
