WORTH NOTING
1. Iowa State is playing its fourth ranked team in the last five games and the fifth ranked team in January.
2. The Cyclones are looking to win their third-straight game at Hilton Coliseum.
3. Steve Prohm has coached the Cyclones to 17 wins against the AP Top-25, the third-most in school history...he owns one of ISU's two wins against No. 1 teams, defeating top-ranked Oklahoma in his first season at ISU...the Cyclones were 2-3 in conference play at the time they beat the Sooners.
4. Tyrese Haliburton has made a three-pointer in a career-best 15 consecutive games.
5. Rasir Bolton was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week after averaging 22.0 points in ISU's two games last week.
LASTÂ TIMEÂ OUTÂ - CYCLONES FALL TO AUBURN IN BIG 12/SEC CHALLENGE
• Iowa State trimmed an 18-point halftime deficit to just four points in the closing seconds with an open three that would have cut it to one, but ultimately fell 80-76 to the Tigers Saturday.
• The Cyclones had four players reach double figures, led by Bolton's 23 points...Haliburton (12), Terrence Lewis (12) and Solomon Young (10) also reached double digits.
• The Cyclones outrebounded Auburn, 45-39...Young led the Cyclones with nine boards.
• ISU shot 19-for-23 at the line...Bolton was 9-for-10, his fourth game this season with at least seven made free throws.
IOWAÂ STATE-BAYLOR SERIESÂ NOTES
• Iowa State and Baylor are meeting for the 40th time...ISU holds a 20-19 lead in the all-time series, but the series has been dominated by the home team...ISU leads 14-3 in games played in Ames, but all three Bears' wins have come  since 2015...this includes a 73-69 BU win last season in Ames.
• Baylor has come to Hilton Coliseum four times as a ranked team and ISU has won three of those meetings, with all three coming when the Bears were ranked inside the top-10.
• BU won the first meeting between the teams this season, earning a 68-55 victory in Waco on Jan. 15...it was a five-point Baylor lead at the half after a costly foul with a second left gave the Bears three free throws...ISU held Baylor to just 40.3 percent shooting, but shot just 39.7 percent itself...the game was largely even across the stat sheet, with Baylor holding a 13-3 edge in free throws made and 45-33 on the glass...ISU had no players reach double figures, with Bolton and Nixon leading the way with nine points each...Jared Butler scored 19 points for the Bears.
• Haliburton and Baylor guard Jared Butler both attended tryouts for USA Basketball U19 World Cup team...Haliburton made the team and was named to the All-Star Five of the tournament, while Butler was selected as a finalist for the team but was unable to participate.
• Baylor is one of three Big 12 schools that ISU owns an edge in the all-time series...the others are Texas Tech and West Virginia.
• ISU head coach Steve Prohm is 3-7 against Scott Drew and Baylor.
• ISU is 388-580 against teams currently in the Big 12 Conference.
