AMES, Iowa – The 13th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones welcome the top-ranked and defending National Champion Iowa Hawkeyes to Hilton Coliseum Sunday night for the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series match. The match returns after a one-year hiatus due to Covid-19. The first match is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be available on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

KEY STORYLINES
-Iowa State opened the dual meet portion of the schedule Nov. 27 with a pair of victories over Army and California Baptist.
-The Cyclones won seven bouts against the Black Knights in the opener for the 25-9 victory. In the second match of the day, Iowa State won all 10 matches in a 39-0 victory over the Lancers.
-At the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open, six Cyclones advanced to the finals between the Freshman/Sophomore Bracket and the Open Bracket. In the Freshman/Sophomore Bracket, Conor Knopick (125), Drew Woodley (141) and Cody Fisher (184) all finished second. Caleb Fuessley (125), Cam Robinson (149) and Ethan Andersen (285) were all runner-up in the open field.
-The Cyclones opened the season at the Daktronics Open Nov. 21, taking home four titles. Kysen Terukina (125), Zach Redding (141), Jarrett Degen (149) and David Carr (157) all won titles.
-Iowa State also had four other wrestlers finish second, as Corey Cabanban (125), Joel Devine (174), Marcus Coleman (184) and Sam Schuyler (285) all reached the finals.
