AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team will travel to Columbia, Mo., this weekend for the Mizzou Tournament. The Cyclones open the weekend on Friday at 10:00 a.m. CT vs. Kent State. Iowa State will also face No. 17 Missouri (2x) and Drake at the tournament. Both of Iowa State's games vs. No. 17 Missouri will be streamed live on SEC Network+.

KEY STORYLINES
- The Cyclones are coming off a 3-2 weekend at the UT Arlington Boerner Invitational, and are looking to bounce back from their first back-to-back losses of the season.
- Iowa State returns to Columbia, Mo. for the first time since May 14, 2011, when the Cyclones and Tigers were Big 12 foes.
- Iowa State is 32-54-0 all-time vs. Missouri in a series that dates back to 1976.
- Iowa State is 16-4 on the season, tied for the second-best 20-game start in program history. The only year ISU had a better mark through 20 games was 1975 (17-3).
 - The Cyclone offense is turning heads this season, ranking T-No. 5 nationally in doubles (35) and No. 7 in runs scored (133).
- Sophomore Karlie Charles is 7-2 on the season with a team-best 1.96 ERA. Charles' seven wins rank her T-No. 8 nationally and are the most by a Big 12 pitcher this season. Charles has 33 strikeouts to just 12 walks on the year.
- Junior Mikayla Ramos ranks No. 2 nationally in doubles this season with nine in 20 games. Ramos had her first-ever multi-double game on Feb. 19 to help lift ISU past FAU, 6-3. Ramos also had 2 RBIs.
- Sami Williams recorded her 150th career RBI on March 5 vs. UT Arlington, breaking the program record of 149 set by Erica Miller (2010-13).
- Williams is now Iowa State's all-time leader in home runs (56), doubles (70), RBI (152) and runs scored (174).
- Williams is the Big 12's all-time doubles leader with 70. She is just one double away from breaking into the NCAA's all-time top 10. She is the first NCAA DI player to reach 70 doubles since Lea Foerster (Michigan St. - 2018).
- Iowa State is 3-0 vs. SEC opponents entering this weekend's tournament.
- Williams is closing in on yet another school record. The senior is just 3 RBI away from breaking Erica Miller's (2010-13) record of 149. Williams tied her career high with 5 RBI on Feb. 26 vs. Portland State.
