AMES, Iowa – Iowa State will be represented by eight wrestlers at the NCAA Championships next weekend, set to be held in St. Louis, Mo., at the Enterprise Center. The NCAA announced today the seeds and preliminary brackets for the national championships. This is the third year that the NCAA seeded the entire field, 1-33.
The Cyclones have qualified eight or more wrestlers for the national championships in three consecutive seasons for the first time since a stretch from 2008-10 where Iowa State qualified 10 wrestlers all three years.
The NCAA Championships are set to begin next Thursday, March 18, and will be wrestled through March 20. Morning sessions will be broadcast on ESPNU, with evening sessions on ESPN. As always, every match from every mat will be streamed on WatchESPN.
