STILLWATER, Okla. – The Iowa State women's cross country team made their 10th appearance in the last 11 years at the 2021 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday. The Cyclones raced to a 25th-place finish as a team, with a team score of 580 points.
BYU captured the team title with a team score of 96 team points.
Winrose Chesang led the Cyclones at the OSU Cross Country Course. She finished 109th individually behind a 6k time of 21:32.6.
Cailie Logue raced to a 126th-place finish individually, crossing the finish line in 21:42.8. Following closely behind the three-time Big 12 Champ was Dana Feyen in 128th-place in 21:44.1.
The next Cyclones to cross the finish line were Madelynn Hill and Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, Brenna Cohoon. Hill ran the 6k course in 22:05.9 for a 173rd-place finish, in front of Cohoon who finished 188th in 22:17.3.
Rounding out the Cyclone lineup at the national championships were Janette Schraft and Grace Dickel. Schraft ran to a 190th-place finish in 22:19.3. Dickel posted a 217th-place finish and finished in 22:37.6.
