AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State softball team will travel to St. Louis, Mo., this weekend for a three-game series vs. Saint Louis at the Billiken Sports Center. The Cyclones and Billikens open the weekend on Friday at 3:00 p.m. CT. This weekend's series will be Iowa State's final non-conference test before starting Big 12 play on March 26.

FROM THE NOTEBOOK
- The Cyclones are coming off a 3-1 weekend at the Mizzou Tournament, pick up wins vs. Kent State (2x) and Drake, while falling 3-2 to No. 17 Missouri.
- Iowa State is 19-5 on the season, good for the second-best 24-game start in program history. The only year ISU had a better mark through 25 games was 1979 (20-4).
- The Cyclone offense is turning heads this season, ranking T-No. 2 nationally in doubles (43) and No. 7 in runs scored (161).
- Sami Williams is just seven base hits away from becoming Iowa State's all-time hits leader. Brittany Gomez currently holds the record of 297, while Williams has 291.
 - Williams is already Iowa State's all-time leader in home runs (59), doubles (72), RBI (159) and runs scored (181).
- Iowa State is 2-0 all-time vs. Saint Louis. The Cyclones and Billikens met twice in the 2010 Billiken Invitational.
- Iowa State has played 24 games away from home this season - the most of any team in the nation.
- Sami Williams is currently ranked 9th in career doubles in NCAA history with 72. She is the first NCAA DI player to reach 70 doubles since Lea Foerster (Michigan St. - 2018). The all-time record is held by Washington's Sarah Pickering (91).
- Sophomore Karlie Charles is 8-2 on the season with a 2.19 ERA. Charles' eight wins rank her T-No. 14th nationally and are tied for the most by a Big 12 pitcher this season. Charles has 38 strikeouts to just 12 walks on the year.
- Junior Mikayla Ramos ranks T-No. 2 nationally in doubles this season with 10 in 24 games. Ramos had her first-ever multi-double game on Feb. 19 to help lift ISU past FAU, 6-3. Ramos also had 2 RBIs.
