AMES, Iowa - No. 12 Iowa State heads on the road for its first Big 12 road test of 2022 against No. 23 Oklahoma. The Cyclones opened conference play with an 88-72 win over West Virginia Sunday at Hilton Coliseum. Wednesday's matchup of ISU and OU should be a high-scoring one, with both teams ranking in the top-10 nationally in scoring offense.

KEY STORYLINES
-Against the Mountaineers, ISU point guard Emily Ryan tied her second single-game school record of the season, dishing out 16 assists.
-Ryan, who tied ISU's single-game school record for steals with nine on Nov. 9 vs. Omaha, is now the nation's leader in assists per game at 7.5 and is ninth in assist/turnover ratio (3.16).
-Ashley Joens, the 2021 Cheryl Miller Award winner, got her seventh double-double of the season with 29 points and 11 rebounds against WVU.
-Joens leads Iowa State with 20.6 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per contest. She is one of five players nationally who is averaging at least 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
-Iowa State is one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the country, leading the nation with 152 made 3-pointers and are second with 11.7 treys per game.
-Against Prairie View A&M on Dec. 19, ISU tied its school record with 19 made 3-pointers (also on Jan. 10, 2021 at Texas Tech). The 3-point barrage was led by six each from Lexi Donarsrki and Aubrey Joens.
-Iowa State is the only team in the country to have three players with at least 35 3-pointers on the season via Aubrey Joens (46), Lexi Donarski (40) and Ashley Joens (35).Â
-Against PVAMU, Emily Ryan posted one of the most unique stat lines of the season: 12 points, a then-career-high 15 assists, five rebounds, two blocks and a steal with no turnovers in 27 minutes.
LAST TIME OUT
-No. 14 Iowa State began Big 12 play with an 88-72 win over West Virginia Sunday at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones scored the first five points of the game and did not look back from there.
-Emily Ryan tied ISU's single-game school record for assists with 16 against the Mountaineers, matching Lyndsey Medders' 16 dimes against IPFW on Dec. 30, 2005.
-Ryan just missed out on a triple-double, scoring 10 points for her second-straight double-double and setting a new career-best with nine rebounds.
-Ashley Joens got her seventh double-double of the season, posting 29 points and 11 rebounds.
-Beatriz Jordão made the most of her first start as a Cyclone, matching her season-best with 14 points on 7-of-12 shooting.
-Morgan Kane came off the bench to put up 10 points, her fifth game of the season in double figures.
