Iowa State hosts No. 20 Kansas State in the season's first night game at MidAmerican Energy Field at Jack Trice Stadium. Saturday's game marks the 99^th anniversary of Jack Trice's death (Oct. 8, 1923) from injuries sustained in a game two days earlier against Minnesota. On Thursday, Iowa State University announced a year-long centennial commemoration of his legacy.
