AMES, Iowa - Iowa State has won three straight in the Big 12 Conference and looks to make it four for the first time since the 2016-17 season when it travels to face Kansas State on Saturday at Bramlage Coliseum, where ISU last won in 2019.

- Iowa State improved to 19-9 overall with a come-from-behind win against West Virginia on Wednesday night ... ISU is +17 in the win column this season compared to last, matching the best turnaround in school history (1999-2000) ... the next win would mark the biggest turnaround in Big 12 history.
- Iowa State has eight Quad 1 victories this season, one of just four teams that can claim that many.
- Izaiah Brockington earned his fifth weekly honor from the Big 12 after being named league co-player of the week ... Brockington averaged 21.0 points while shooting 53 percent from the field last week ... Brockington is the first Cyclone to win at least five weekly honors since DeAndre Kane earned six in 2013-14.

Fred Hoiberg did it in 26 games ... Hunter is tied for fourth among all ISU freshmen with 52 steals, 12 off Hoiberg's record.

- Iowa State used a little bit of Hilton Magic on Wednesday evening as it rallied from 12 points down in the second half to beat West Virginia in a pivotal game ... ISU shot 55.1 percent from the field, including 63 percent in the second half ... the Cyclones had zero second-half turnovers and finished with nine in the game ... it was the Izaiah Brockington Show as the senior scored 35 points on 14-of-22 shooting from the field and 5-for-8 behind the arc ... Tyrese Hunter narrowly missed on his first career double-double, tallying 10 points and nine assists ... Brockington and Kalscheur combined for 40 points in the second half (Brockington 25, Kalscheur 15) ... George Conditt posted his third game of the season with five assists.
