AMES, Iowa - No. 9 Iowa State will look to maintain its spot atop the Big 12 standings on Saturday against Texas Tech in a 1 p.m. meeting with the Lady Raiders. The Cyclones picked up their sixth Big 12 road win of the season with an 85-59 victory at Kansas Wednesday night, matching the program record for regular season wins at 23.

KEY STORYLINES
-This is the fifth time Iowa State has picked up 23 regular season (prior to conference tournament wins), also doing so in 1997-98, 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2018-19. All have come under the guidance of head coach Bill Fennelly.
-With a win on Saturday, Iowa State would match its program record for conference wins in a season with 13 (1999-00 and 2018-19).
-ISU's victory on Wednesday also meant the 2021-22 version of the Cyclones joined the 1999-00 and 2018-19 squads as the only teams in program history to pick up six league road wins in a season.
-Iowa State hit 17 3-pointers on Wednesday at KU, the 13th time under Fennelly ISU has drained at least 17 treys in a game and the fourth time this season.
-ISU has 292 treys on the season, needing just 12 more to set a new single-season program record (303, 2018-19).
-Along with the barrage of 3-pointers, Iowa State is the most efficiet 3-point shooting team in the nation, leading the country with a 39.4 percent 3-point shooting percentage.
-Joens became Iowa State's all-time leading scorer at Texas (Feb. 16), surpassing Angie Welle's previous record of 2,149 points. She enters Wednesday's contest with 2,206 career points.
-With three more points, Joens can enter the Big 12's all-time top-10 for career points (10th place: Kalani Brown, Baylor, 2,209).
-With one more rebound, Joens can become the fourth player in ISU history to reach 1,000 career rebounds.
-Emily Ryan is third in the country with 7.2 assists per contest, dishing out at least 10 six times this season.
LAST TIME OUT
-No. 9 Iowa State claimed its sixth Big 12 road win of the season with an emphatic 85-59 victory at Kansas on Wednesday night. The victory allowed ISU to match its record for regular season wins in a season and conference road wins in a season.
-Iowa State connected on 17 3-pointers in the contest, the fourth time this season ISU has hit at least 17 treys.
-Ashley Joens recorded her 13th double-double of the season, posting a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds. She hit five 3-pointers in the contest.
-Lexi Donarski notched her fifth 20-point game of the season, with 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting, including five 3-pointers.
-Emily Ryan got her fourth double-double of the year with 10 points and 11 assists. She has six 10+ assist contests on the season.
