Coming off an emotional win at rival Iowa last weekend, Iowa State returns home to the friendly confines of Jack Trice Stadium to host Ohio in its final nonconference game of the season. The Cyclones own a five-game home winning streak and look to start 3-0 for the first time since 2012.

Xavier Hutchinson had 11 receptions against Iowa, the most by any Cyclone in the history of the series.
FOUR THINGS
4 – Colby Reeder took home Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Week honors after recording his first interception as a Cyclone in the win against Iowa … he also had a tackle for a loss and two quarterback hurries as the Cyclones held Iowa to just 150 yards of total offense.
3 – Xavier Hutchinson has four touchdown grabs through two games, the most-ever by a Cyclone to start the season.
2 – Jirehl Brock has started the season with back-to-back 100-yard rushing efforts … since 2000, only Breece Hall (8 straight in 2020) and Ennis Haywood (4 in 2000) have started the season with three-straight 100-yard rushing games … Brock is averaging 76.5 yards in the second half this season.
1 – Despite Matt Campbell having coached in the MAC at Toledo before coming to Iowa State, this will be his first time coaching against Ohio.

YOU BITTER BELIEVE IT
Redshirt sophomore Aidan Bitter made an unbelievable catch on the sideline in the second quarter that went for 16 yards and kept the chains moving. The play helped set up a 22-yard field goal from Jace Gilbert that cut the Iowa lead to 7-3. It was just the third catch of Bitter's career, but it couldn't have come at a better time.
