AMES, Iowa – Madelynn Hill has been named the Cyclone Club Student-Athlete of the Week for her efforts Friday at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis.
Hill led the way as Iowa State's top finisher in the meet, checking in at 18th place in the individual standings. The senior from Liberty, Missouri clocked a time of 21:18.8, dropping 26 seconds off her time from the 2021 Griak Invitational.
The Cyclone women finished the day in eighth pace in the team standings with 193 points.
The No. 9 Iowa State men's squad will be back in action Friday at the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by Missouri. The Cyclone women return to the course on Oct. 14 at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational.
