Storylines:
Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State are the only three remaining undefeated teams in league play. All three teams are 4-0.
Iowa State and Kansas have matched up more than any other team in Iowa State's history. In fact, Iowa State played Kansas in the program's first ever game in 1908. This will be the 255th game between the two programs.
Kansas swept the season series last year. Both games were decided by less than 10 points, including a one-point ISU loss on January 11 in Lawrence.
As Kansas Head Coach, Bill Self is 35-10 when facing Iowa State. 32 of those wins have come while at Kansas.
Kansas is ranked No. 2 in the AP Poll. The last time the Cyclones beat a ranked Jayhawks team was in 2019, which gave the Cyclones a Big 12 championship that year.
From the Notes:
Against Texas Tech, Tre King became the fourth active Cyclone with over 1,000 career points (Kalscheur, Holmes, Osunniyi).
Switching Sides:
KU has won 15-straight games inside Allen Fieldhouse.
Kansas is 9-0 in Allen Fieldhouse this season.
The Jayhawks are 4-0 in Big 12 play for the ninth time in the Bill Self era and the first time since the 2016-17 season.
KU leads the Big 12 in team 3-point percentage (38.1).
