Kalscheur Named Cyclone Club Student-Athlete of the Week

AMES, Iowa – Gabe Kalscheur has been named the Cyclone Club Student-Athlete of the Week after leading Iowa State to a 77-62 victory over No. 12 Baylor last week.
Kalscheur hit five 3-pointers and scored 23 points to lead the Cyclones in scoring, the most points of his career in a Big 12 game. The Edina, Minnesota native finished the game 7-of-13 from the field and 5-of-9 from beyond the arc.
Kalscheur also led the team with three steals in the game.
Next up, No. 25 Iowa State travels to Oklahoma to face the Sooners on Wednesday (Jan. 4). Tipoff is at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
