After missing week three with a thigh injury, David Montgomery returned for the Lions in a massive way, rushing for 121 yards and scoring three touchdowns in the Lions 34-20 win in Green Bay against the Packers. Thursday's game marked the second time in Lions history in which a running back scored a rushing touchdown in their first three games for the organization, with Montgomery joining Hall of Famer Barry Sanders on that list. Montgomery is the fourth former Cyclone to score three touchdowns in an NFL game and the first to score all three on the ground. Montgomery ranks in the top 10 in the league in both rushing touchdowns and rushing yards per game.
Up Next: The Lions heads back to Detroit to meet Carolina Sunday at noon.

Purdy added a rushing touchdown with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to put the game away for the 49ers. Brocktober is now in full effect as Purdy improves to 13-3 as a starter in the month of October dating back to his first start as a freshman for Iowa State in 2018.
