Breece Week 7

The New York Jets kept their winning streak going with a 13-10 overtime win against the New York Giants largely in part to the efforts of the Cyclones on the team.

Breece Hall had a career low in rushing yards when having 10 or more rushing attempts getting just 17 yards off of 12 attempts, but Hall made up for that in the passing game by having six receptions for 76 yards. The effort for Hall included a 50-yard catch-and-run that scored the only touchdown of the day for the Jets.

Allen Lazard recorded three catches for 45 yards, including a 29-yard strike from Zach Wilson to set up a game-tying field goal to force overtime. Will McDonald IV recorded a solo tackle and nearly blocked a field goal that was missed in the fourth quarter, which led to the Jets game-tying drive.

UP NEXT: The Jets will stay home and take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

Brock Purdy and the 49ers suffered a 31-17 loss against the Bengals and fell to 5-3 this season. Purdy had his first 300-yard passing game in the NFL against the Bengals, throwing for 365 yards and one touchdown on 71 percent passing. Among starting quarterbacks, Purdy still holds high marks as the ninth quarterback to throw for 2,000 yards in 2023. He is tied with two other quarterbacks for the least number of interceptions with at least 2,000 yards passing. Purdy is still top 10 in completion percentage and QBR among NFL quarterbacks.

UP NEXT: The 49ers are on a bye this week before taking on the Jaguars in Jacksonville in week 10.

David Montgomery was ruled out of Monday Night's game against the Raiders with a rib injury that kept him out of the week seven loss against the Ravens. The Lions won 26-14 against the Raiders and improved to 6-2 on the season.

UP NEXT: After a bye, the Lions will play the Chargers in California.

Jake Hummel recorded no stats in the Rams' 43-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Kene Nwangwu was inactive in the Vikings' 24-10 win against the Packers.
