The true freshman led the way in scoring for the Cyclones in his first collegiate game against Green Bay, posting 18 points and seven rebounds. Momcilovic shot 6-7 from three, the most three-pointers ever by an ISU freshman in a season-opener.Â
The 6-8 forward from Pewaukee, Wisconsin went on to score double digits in the team's next two blowout wins against Lindenwood and Idaho State, posting 17 and 11 points, respectively, while shooting 4-of-9 from three over those two contests.Â
The Cyclones have a week off before looking to stay unbeaten as they host Grambling State on Sunday, Nov. 19. Tipoff is at Noon (CT).
About the Cyclone Club
The Cyclone Club spearheads the fundraising efforts for the Iowa State Athletic department and gifts of all sizes directly impact the lives of over 450 student-athletes at Iowa State. Annual Cyclone Club gifts provide ISU student-athletes the opportunity to compete in their sport at the highest level, while preparing them to utilize their Iowa State degree once their athletic careers have concluded. Iowa State Athletics does not receive any State or University funding to operate, thereby making it one of the nation's only financially self-sufficient athletic programs.
