Week 10 marked a special moment in Iowa State football history with 12 former Iowa State football players on NFL active rosters with the addition of offensive tackle Julian Good-Jones to the Commanders' active roster. This marks an all-time high of former Iowa State players active in the NFL at the same time (non-strike year).

Brock Purdy and the 49ers broke a three-game losing streak with a dominant 34-3 win against the Jaguars Sunday. Purdy was excellent, throwing for 296 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73 percent of his passes. The performance was Purdy's fourth career NFL game throwing over three touchdowns and his 11th career NFL game without an interception when he has started.

The performance also had Purdy join Kurt Warner as the only two quarterbacks in NFL history with three games of at least three touchdown passes and a passer rating of over 140 across their first two NFL seasons.

Montgomery_Week10

David Montgomery had another strong performance for the Lions as they beat the Chargers, 41-38, in Los Angeles. Montgomery had 12 rushes for 116 yards and one touchdown in the game. His TD came on a 75-yard dash, the second-longest of his career.

Montgomery's game Sunday helped him break 500 rushing yards this season, the only running back this season with over 500 yards while playing just six games this season. Montgomery also is a top five running back in rushing touchdowns and rushing yards per game through week 10.

The Jets fell to 4-5 with a 16-12 loss against the Raiders on Sunday Night Football.

Breece Hall had 13 rushes for 28 yards, while also recording three catches for 47 yards in the passing game. Allen Lazard recorded one catch for 17 yards. Will McDonald IV was inactive in the loss.

Hutchinson_Week10

Xavier Hutchinson recorded a 17-yard run in the Texans' 30-27 win in Cincinnati against the Bengals. Hutchinson's 17-yard rush is the longest recorded attempt of his collegiate or professional career.

Kene Nwangwu recorded his first two rushing attempts of the 2023 season for nine yards in the Vikings' 27-19 win against the Saints. The Vikings extended their winning streak to five games, including 4-0 since Nwangwu's return from injured reserve.

Anthony Johnson Jr. recorded one tackle in the Packers' 23-19 loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Charlie Kolar recorded no stats in the Ravens' 33-31 loss against the Browns.
