CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Following a season with a team absence at the national championships, the Iowa State women finished in the Top 20 at the 2023 NCAA Championships on Saturday morning. It marks the Cyclones' third top-25 finish in four seasons and the 24th top-25 finish in program history.

Maelle Porcher led Iowa State for the first time this season, finishing 83rd in 20:33.5 while Madelynn Hill followed at 90th in 20:36.0. Fifth year seniors Dana Feyen and Janette Schraft finished 110th and 142nd, respectively. Bella Heikes (163rd), Kiki Connell (165th) and Sheridan Wheeler (183rd) were other finishers for the Cyclones.
Iowa State was the third-highest finishing Big 12 team, following Oklahoma State (3rd) and BYU (14th).
