Brock Purdy had a historic day for the 49ers in their 27-14 win over the Buccaneers. Purdy threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84 percent of his passes. This effort from Purdy included a perfect passer rating of 158.3.
Purdy became the third 49ers quarterback in history to record a perfect passer rating, joining hall of famers Joe Montana and Steve Young who both had a perfect game in 1989. Over Purdy's past two starts, he has held a passer rating of 157.3, the highest passer rating by any NFL quarterback since starts were first tracked in 1950 according to Opta Stats.
Purdy's performance Sunday also made him the fourth former Iowa State Cyclone to pass for more than 4,000 yards in the NFL, joining Seneca Wallace, David Archer and Sage Rosenfels.
Purdy leads the league in completion percentage, QBR and passer rating after week 11 and will look to keep his historic trend alive as San Francisco looks to secure another division title in the last seven weeks of the regular season.
