Cyclones In the NFL: Week 9

The Jets fell to the Chargers, 27-6, on Monday Night Football to drop their record to 4-4 this season.

Breece Hall led all rushers in the game with 16 rushing attempts for 50 yards. Hall also added 10 receiving yards in the passing game for the Jets. After week nine, Hall is one of the most productive running backs in the NFL averaging 5.2 yards per carry and 61.6 rushing yards per game across the first eight games of his 2023 season.

Allen Lazard added two receptions for 18 yards.

Rookie Will McDonald recorded a half sack with lineman Solomon Thomas in Monday's loss, his first in the NFL. The all-time Big 12 sack leader will be looking to create more sacks before his rookie season ends.

Anthony Johnson Jr. had a special day Sunday against the Rams recording his first career interception in his first career NFL start. The interception came with two defended passes and one tackle in the Packers' 20-3 win against the Rams. The interception came at a huge time for Johnson Jr., with Sunday's game marking the third game he has played in his young NFL career.

With two key starters in the Packers secondary on injured reserve for at least two more weeks, Johnson Jr. will look to continue capitalizing on opportunities to start and make his mark in the NFL.
