ISU was 9-of-15 (60 pct.) from beyond the arc in the win.
How It Happened

The Cyclone lead grew to 20 points (50-30) with under two minutes remaining in the first half, as ISU went into the break with a 52-35 lead. Curtis Jones was responsible for helping ISU take command by draining all four of his attempts from beyond the arc. He closed out the half with 14 points.
The first-half game flow was hampered by fouls and turnovers, as both teams accounted for 28 turnovers (15- PVAM; 13- ISU) and 26 fouls (14- PVAM; 12-ISU).
ISU outscored the Panthers 26-6 to begin the second half to put the game out of reach.
Top Performers
Curtis Jones was brilliant and effective from off the bench. The first-year Cyclone tallied 14 of his Cyclone-high 22 points in the opening period to aid ISU in building its lead. Jones was 6-of-8 from 3-point range, setting a new career high in 3-pointers made in a game. He made his first five 3-point attempts.
