Eight Cyclones Earn Academic All-District Honors

AMES, Iowa – Eight Iowa State football players earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, announced Tuesday by the organization.
The Cyclones recognized included: Caleb Bacon, Rocco Becht, Jim Bonifas, Gabe Burkle, Easton Dean, Beau Freyler, John Klosterman and Myles Mendeszoon.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 GPA or higher and have at least one year completed in college. They also must have played in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
Freyler earned the honor for the second time in his career. The rest of the Cyclones are first-time honorees.
