Iowa State's road to defend a Big 12 title begins Saturday when the Cyclones open conference play at Oklahoma State. The battle of 7-4 teams takes place at 2:00 p.m. CT for ISU's final December contest. The Cyclones are 36-38 all-time against the Cowgirls.

2 – Two Iowa State freshmen have top 5 field goal percentages among NCAA DI freshmen. Audi Crooks (1st) and Addy Brown (6th) also rank third and 10th among all Big 12 players in the category.
3 – Three ISU freshman have posted NCAA DI top-20 marks in three categories. Audi Crooks (7th, FG%), Addy Brown (18th, Double-Doubles) and Arianna Jackson (20th, A/T Ratio) have notable marks in the respective categories.
10 – The Cyclones own one of the top marks in NCAA DI assists per game at 20.7 dimes per contest. The mark is 10th in Division I and third in the Big 12. Addy Brown leads the Cyclones with 64 assists.
905 – The Cyclones have made at least one 3-point field goal in an NCAA-record 905 consecutive games, a streak which encapsulates the entirety of the Bill Fennelly Era at Iowa State.
LAST TIME OUT
For the third-straight game, Iowa State had at least five players score in double figures, helping the Cyclones to an 87-70 rout of UNI prior to the holiday break. Freshmen Kelsey Joens and Audi Crooks led the way for ISU, posting 16 points apiece on a combined 12-of-16 shooting from the floor. Addy Brown recorded her fifth-straight double-double with 11 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Isnelle Natabou recorded the first double-double of her Cyclone career with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Natabou also recorded her 700th career rebound, becoming just the 49th active NCAA Division I women's basketball player to tally 1,000 career points and 700 career rebounds. The Cyclones shot 50 percent from 3-point range, finishing with 11 3-pointers on the night, the fourth time this season ISU has recorded 10 or more triples in a game.
REIGNING FROM THREE
As has been the case for decades, Iowa State is one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country. Hannah Belanger leads the ISU effort from deep, canning 24 triples through nine games and connecting on 36.4 percent of her attempts from deep. This season, ISU is Top 25 in NCAA DI and second in the Big 12 with 9.1 triples per game.

In 1999-2000, ISU posted at least 25 assists in a game six times, the top total for single season in program history.
