Cyclones In the NFL: Week 13

Brock Purdy had another elite performance Sunday, helping the 49ers beat the 10-1 Eagles, 42-19. Purdy threw for 314 yards with four touchdowns at a 70 percent completion clip.

Purdy is the only quarterback this season to throw for over 300 yards passing with four touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Eagles, who have one of the best defenses in the NFL.

After recording a passer rating of 148.8 against the Eagles, Purdy has had four of the top seven passer ratings among all NFL quarterbacks this season. On top of that, Purdy is first in completion percentage, QBR, yards per attempt and touchdowns per attempt.

David Montgomery extended his streak with at least one touchdown to four-straight games in the Lions' 33-28 win over the Saints. On the day, Montgomery recorded 18 carries for 56 yards and the one touchdown. The Lions are 4-0 this season when Montgomery receives 18 or more rushing attempts.

Among NFL players, Montgomery has the most rushing yards out of players with nine or fewer games played in the 2023 season with 704 yards. Montgomery also has the most yards recorded out of players with less than 160 rushing attempts with Montgomery at 151. His 10 rushing touchdowns on the season are tied for fourth best in the league and will continue to make him a threat in the red zone as the Lions look to win the NFC North for the first-time ever.

The Jets losing streak extended to five games as they lost to the Falcons, 13-8.

Breece Hall recorded 13 carries for 16 yards and six receptions for 29 yards in the passing game. Allen Lazard and Will McDonald recorded no stats in the loss.
