Coming off one of two big wins last week, No. 20 Iowa State will look to keep the momentum going at Oklahoma State in a battle for third in the Big 12 Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The Cyclones followed up their win over Texas with a dramatic 81-77 double overtime victory at Baylor on Saturday evening.
INSIDE THE SERIES

In Stillwater:Â OSU Leads 18-14
Fennelly vs. OSU:Â 26-19
FOUR THINGS
21 – Iowa State has hit over 200 3-pointers each season for the past 21 seasons. The Cyclones went past the mark again with 11 at Baylor on Saturday.
22 – Big 12 Player of the Week Ashley Joens enters Wednesday with 2,860 career points, which is tied for 22nd in NCAA Division I Women's Basketball history. She is only 15 points away from moving up to 18th place.
27 – Last Monday, head coach Bill Fennelly became the 27th coach in NCAA Women's Basketball history to reach 751 career victories. 585 of his 751 have come at Iowa State, with the other 166 coming in his seven seasons at Toledo before arriving in Ames.
885 – The Cyclones have made at least one 3-point field goal in an NCAA-record 886 consecutive games, a streak which encapsulates the entirety of the Bill Fennelly Era at Iowa State.
ALWAYS OUR COACH OF THE WEEK
Last week's pair of big Iowa State wins did not go unrecognized nationally, as ESPN.com named Bill Fennelly its Women's Basketball Coach of the Week (read here). After getting career win No. 750 against then-No. 17 Texas last Monday, Fennelly and the Cyclones followed it up in double overtime at Baylor, getting just the program's third win in Waco.
SWEEP(S) WEEK
Iowa State took the sweeping off the court as well, with Ashley Joens and Denae Fritz earning Big 12 Player of the Week and Big 12 Freshman of the Week, respectively. Joens is now a 13-time Big 12 Player of the Week, earning her third of the season after averaging 25.5 ppg and 9.5 rpg across the Cyclones two victories last week. Fritz averaged 11.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest while going 5-of-9 from 3-point range en route to earning her second Big 12 Freshman of the Week.
