AMES, Iowa – Five track and field student-athletes were placed on women's CSC Academic All-American teams, the College Sports Communicators announced Wednesday. Iowa State is one of two schools with five selections.
Cailie Logue earned first team status, her third first team honor and fourth total Academic All-American nod. Logue is one of four repeat women's selections and the only four-time selection.
Brenna Cohoon, Kiki Connell, Dana Feyen were placed on second team while Madelynn Hill earned third team. All earn the first Academic All-American accolade of their careers.
Cohoon, Connell, Feyen and Logue each put up a perfect cumulative GPA of 4.0.
Student-athletes picked up the honor after moving onto the national ballot from earning Academic All-District honors. All-District honorees hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher while participating in at least 50 percent of competitions.
