David Montgomery continued his strong start for the Lions with 67 rushing yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks. Montgomery's performance marked the first time since 2020 that he has ran for over 60 yards and had at least one rushing touchdown.
Unfortunately, Montgomery was forced to leave late in the third quarter with a quad injury and did not return. Per reports from Lions head coach Dan Campbell, it appears Montgomery avoided serious injury. The Lions went on to lose to the Seahawks, 37-31, in overtime.
Next Week: The Lions will stay at home for a matchup with the Falcons in week 3 at noon.

Brock Purdy and the 49ers improved to 2-0 after a tightly contested 30-23 win in Los Angeles against the Rams. Purdy was efficient throwing the football going 17-for-25 with 206 yards. Purdy also added a 1-yard rushing touchdown to tie the game heading into halftime.

After an overtime win over the Bills in week 1, the Jets looked to keep their winning ways going against the Cowboys but fell 30-10 on the road.
