Brock Purdy kept his red-hot start to the NFL season going Thursday night, throwing for 310 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-12 win over the New York Giants. Purdy is now 8-0 in regular season starts, passing quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Jimmy Garopolo, who had seven regular season wins without a loss to begin their careers. Purdy is one of just two quarterbacks in the NFL to have over 700 yards passing, over 65% of his passes completed, and zero turnovers through 3 games with the other being Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. San Francisco is 3-0 for the first time since 2019, when they lost in the Super Bowl to the Chiefs.
