Brock Purdy kept his red-hot start to the NFL season going Thursday night, throwing for 310 yards and two touchdowns in a 30-12 win over the New York Giants. Purdy is now 8-0 in regular season starts, passing quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Jimmy Garopolo, who had seven regular season wins without a loss to begin their careers. Purdy is one of just two quarterbacks in the NFL to have over 700 yards passing, over 65% of his passes completed, and zero turnovers through 3 games with the other being Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. San Francisco is 3-0 for the first time since 2019, when they lost in the Super Bowl to the Chiefs.

Lazard_Week 3

The Jets looked to get back on the winning track at home against the in-division rival New England Patriots. Allen Lazard recorded three catches for 39 yards, Breece Hall had 11 carries for 18 yards and Will McDonald did not record a stat as the Jets fell to 1-2 with a 15-10 loss.

Next Up: The road for the Jets will not get easier as they will host the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs at home on Sunday Night Football.

David Montgomery was unable to play in week three due to a thigh injury picked up in the Lions week two loss to the Seahawks.

Next Up: Montgomery hopes to be available for the Lions week four game in Green Bay against the Packers Thursday at 7:15 P.M.

Jake Hummel did not record a stat in the Rams Monday night loss to the Bengals.
