Iowa State won it's seventh-straight Big 12 opener and fourth on the road in the last seven seasons with a 76-68 victory over Oklahoma State. Freshmen Audi Crooks and Addy Brown combined for 41 points, both finishing with 20+ points, the first time two Cyclones have scored 20 or more points in the same game this season. Arianna Jackson and Isnelle Natabou also finished in double figures, chipping in 14 and 10 points, respectively. Jackson doubled her previous season best with 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor, including two clutch 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. The Cyclones outrebounded the Cowgirls 48-21 (+27), the largest positive margin for ISU in a Big 12 game since Jan. 2019 (+33 vs. TCU).

As has been the case for decades, Iowa State is one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country. Hannah Belanger leads the ISU effort from deep, canning 24 triples through 12 games and connecting on 35.4 percent of her attempts from deep. This season, ISU is Top 25 in NCAA DI and second in the Big 12 with 9.1 triples per game. The Cyclones have made 109 3-pointers this season, posting 10 or more made triples in four games this season.
