Iowa State stays on the road for two contests this week, first traveling to Kansas for a rematch of its second Big 12 contest. The Cyclones won the matchup in Hilton Coliseum, 69-61, at the beginning of the month.

LAST TIME OUT
Following a rare forfeiture by TCU Wednesday morning before that evening's loss to Texas Tech, Iowa State moved to 6-1 for just the second time in program history, matching the 2000 team's best start to Big 12 play. Emily Ryan posted a season-high 18 points to lead Iowa State, finishing 8-of-13 from the floor with five assists, two blocks and a steal. Jalynn Bristow had a perfect shooting night, going 4-of-4 from the floor and 2-of-2 from 3-point range. Hannah Belanger (11) and Audi Crooks (14) also finished in double figures while Crooks recorded her third double-double with a game-high 12 rebounds. Like every other game this season, Iowa State outrebounded Texas Tech, 40-30. ISU's rebound margin is +12.8, the sixth-best mark in the nation.
REIGNING FROM THREE
As has been the case for decades, Iowa State is one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country. Hannah Belanger leads the ISU effort from deep, canning 40 triples through 17 games and connecting on 40.8 percent of her attempts from deep. This season, ISU is Top 20 in NCAA DI and second in the Big 12 with 8.8 triples per game. The Cyclones have made 149 3-pointers this season, posting 10 or more made triples in six games this season.
