AMES, Iowa – Monté Morris made his season debut, as all four Cyclones on NBA rosters saw action this last week.
Georges Niang - #20, Cleveland Cavaliers (26-16)
After dropping a career-high 33 points last week, Niang continued his strong play this week, scoring in double figures in all three games. The Cavs went 2-1, dropping their first game since New Year's Day and saw their eight-game win streak snapped.
Georges has hit multiple 3-pointers in nine straight contests for the Cavaliers and is shooting just over 37 percent from deep on the year. He played his most minutes of the season on Monday, amassing 28 and a half minutes in Orlando as the team dispensed of the Magic.

Tyrese Haliburton - #0, Indiana Pacers (24-20)
After suffering a grade 1 hamstring strain two weeks ago, Haliburton appeared in his first game after missing five straight against Portland. However, Haliburton will be held out for a few more games to make sure his body responds properly.
Against Portland, Haliburton got to play with Pascal Siakam for the first time as teammates. Tyrese went for 21 points and 17 rebounds with zero turnovers against the Trailblazers. Haliburton now has six career games of 20-plus points and 15-plus assists with zero turnovers. No one else over the last 40 seasons has more than three.

Morris made his long-awaited return Wednesday evening, playing 11 minutes off the bench. In Monté's first possession, he canned a three.
Without Morris, the Pistons have struggled this season, amassing the fewest wins in the league. In Morris's first game back? The Pistons downed Charlotte. Morris finished his season debut with seven points, three assists (zero turnovers) and three rebounds. Morris gave his thoughts on being back and playing in his home state.
