AMES, Iowa – Former Iowa State athletes continue to shine in the NBA, as four Cyclones saw action in the league this week.
Tyrese Haliburton - #0, Indiana Pacers (6-9)
The Pacers went 1-3 on the week, also dropping to 0-1 in NBA Cup Group Play with a loss to Miami on Friday. In the Group Play game, games Haliburton dominated in last year's formerly branded "In-Season Tournament," Haliburton finished with 18 points, two rebounds, and eight assists (18-2-8).
In other games this week, Tyrese finished with 16-3-13 against Miami on Sunday, 16-3-4 against Toronto on Monday, and 4-1-8 on Wednesday against Houston, just his fourth single-digit outing of the season.

Georges Niang - #20, Cleveland Cavaliers (16-1)
Niang and the Cavaliers finally saw their unbeaten start to the season snapped, losing to Boston on Tuesday in a grueling 120-117 matchup where Niang finished with 11-4-3.
Although the Cavs took a loss on the week, it was announced that Georges Niang has the most player wins since 2020 in the NBA, among potential Hall-of-Famers Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum, and Jrue Holiday.

Niang had a career week, with his best performance being against New Orleans on Wednesday night, finishing with his first 20-point outing of the season, knocking down six of 12 attempts from long distance, complimented with four rebounds and two assists. He also had 14 points and eight rebounds on Friday in the group play game against Chicago and 13-2-1 against Charlotte.

Talen Horton-Tucker - #22, Chicago Bulls (6-10)
Horton-Tucker continues to make the most of limited minutes, finishing with 12 points in 10 minutes against Houston on Sunday. He also had four rebounds and two assists in the outing.
In his only other appearances this week, he failed to record a stat against Georges and the Cavaliers and had one rebound against Milwaukee on Wednesday.

The Suns had the worst week of their season thus far, dropping four straight, but Morris found room to contribute. He recorded his second double-digit scoring performance against New York on Wednesday, finishing with 10 points on 4-6 shooting from the field.
He also had performances of 9-3-1 against Oklahoma City on Friday, 5-1-2 at Minnesota, and eight points and a rebound against Orlando.
