AMES, Iowa - Iowa State wrestler Cody Chittum has been named the Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week after an undefeated weekend at the Collegiate Duals in Nashville.
Chittum's 3-0 weekend was highlighted by a victory over Ohio State's No. 7 Paddy Gallagher. Chittum fell into an early hole after giving up the first two takedowns of the match, but stayed the course and rallied for a 10-8 decision. The sophomore was tough on top to secure the riding time point and had a pair of takedowns himself in the victory.
