Iowa State won its first road contest since Jan. 6 with a 76-64 triumph over Houston. Audi Crooks led the Cyclones with her fourth-straight 20-point game, scoring 25 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the floor. Her point total brought her to 458 career points, just three from setting a new program best by a freshman in a single season.
Crooks and Addy Brown each finished with double-doubles. Crooks pulled down 12 boards while Brown added 16 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Emily Ryan was near a triple-double with nine points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Hannah Belanger also scored in double figures with 11 points. With her third 3-pointer, she became the sixth active NCAA women's basketball player to make 350 career triples.

As has been the case for decades, Iowa State is one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country. Hannah Belanger leads the ISU effort from deep, canning 53 triples through 24 games and connecting on 36.6 percent of her attempts from deep.
This season, ISU is 23rd in NCAA DI and second in the Big 12 with 8.5 triples per game. The Cyclones have made 212 3-pointers this season, posting 10 or more made triples in seven games this season.

Iowa State has reached the 25-assist threshold in six games this season (25 vs. Southern; 25 vs. Syracuse; 25 vs. UNCW; 26 vs. Troy; 27 vs. Oklahoma State; 25 vs. No. 7 Kansas State). The Cyclones rank 12th in NCAA DI and third in the Big 12 through 24 games with 18.8 assists per game.
Addy Brown leads ISU with 127 assists this season, the most by a Cyclone freshman since Emily Ryan set the best single-season mark with 164 dimes. Against Kansas State, ISU assisted on 25 on its 28 made field goals. Emily Ryan (14) and Addy Brown (9) combined for 23 of ISU's 27 assists against Oklahoma State. It was the first time in the Fennelly era multiple Cyclones had posted nine or more assists in a single contest. In the last five seasons of Big 12 contests, Emily Ryan has posted 14 or more assists three times. Every other conference player has only managed the feat once.
The last time Iowa State had a season of recording 25+ assists in multiple games was 2021-22 when they posted marks of 27 vs. Prairie View A&M (Dec. 19, 2021), 26 vs. West Virginia (Jan. 1, 2022) and 25 vs. TCU (Feb. 12, 2022). The Cyclones have posted 25+ assists in at least three games in a single season six times. In 1999-2000, ISU posted at least 25 assists in a game six times, the top total for single season in program history.
