Iowa State travels to No. 15 Kansas State on Wednesday night for its second matchup with the Wildcats in two weeks. The Cyclones pulled off the upset in Hilton Coliseum with a 96-93 victory in double overtime on Feb. 14.

Iowa State swept week 16 with a win over BYU in Hilton Coliseum on Saturday night, 74-49. Emily Ryan led all scorers with 22 points and four 3-pointers while passing out six assists. Audi Crooks added 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor while setting a new Iowa State freshman record for season points (476). Crooks also pulled down a team-high nine rebounds. Hannah Belanger also finished in double figures with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor with three assists.
Iowa State used a 15-0 run, its largest run of the season, from the end of the 3rd through the beginning of the 4th quarter to separate itself from the Cougars. The Cyclones shot nearly 50 percent from the floor and 43.5 percent from deep, canning 10 3-pointers.

REIGNING FROM THREE
As has been the case for decades, Iowa State is one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the country. Hannah Belanger leads the ISU effort from deep, canning 59 triples through 26 games and connecting on 37.3 percent of her attempts from deep.
This season, ISU is 19th in NCAA DI and second in the Big 12 with 8.5 triples per game. The Cyclones have made 222 3-pointers this season, posting 10 or more made triples in eight games this season.

The last time Iowa State had a season of recording 25+ assists in multiple games was 2021-22 when they posted marks of 27 vs. Prairie View A&M (Dec. 19, 2021), 26 vs. West Virginia (Jan. 1, 2022) and 25 vs. TCU (Feb. 12, 2022). The Cyclones have posted 25+ assists in at least three games in a single season six times. In 1999-2000, ISU posted at least 25 assists in a game six times, the top total for single season in program history.
