Home Opening Series vs. Houston Altered

AMES, Iowa – Due to impending inclement weather in Ames this Sunday, the Iowa State softball team has shuffled the schedule for its home Big 12-opening series against Houston at the Cyclone Softball Complex. The Cyclones and Cougars will now play a doubleheader on Friday, March 15, and a single game on Saturday, March 16
Sunday's previously scheduled game has been moved to Friday at 1Â p.m. at the CSC. Friday's original 4Â p.m. game will remain at the same time, as will Saturday's 1 p.m. finale.
This is the second-straight Big 12 series that the Cyclones have seen altered due to weather, as ISU saw its Friday game at Oklahoma converted into a Saturday doubleheader last weekend. Overall, its the third weekend series that ISU has had changed due to weather.
