The Field at The Cyclone Preview
With the second annual running of Iowa State's Cyclone Preview, two in-state teams are set to battle with ISU on the course: Drake and UNI. The field will also feature several individuals competing unattached on opening weekend. Last season, the Cyclones swept the team titles and Silas Winders claimed the men's individual top finish.
Spectator and Parking Information
There will be no entry fee charged for spectators on Friday. Parking can be found at the Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center, as well as lots 61A and 61B (west of the Cyclone Sports Complex next to Wallace and Wilson Residence Halls).
Preseason Promise
Both Cyclone squads enter the 2024 season among the top-30 in the USTFCCCA preseason national poll. The Iowa State men were slated fifth following their top-5 finish at the NCAA Championships a season ago while the women were 30th in the national coaches poll.Â

Jeremy Sudbury returns his top five individual finishers from the 2023 fifth-place NCAA squad in Sanele Masondo, Rodgers Rotich, Gable Sieperda, Said Mechaal and Timothy Sindt. First-year women's cross country associate head coach Cale Wallace will rely on the experience of NCAA top-100 finisher Maelle Porcher to lead the Cyclone women while also returning key pieces in seniors Kiki Connell and Bella Heikes as well as sophomore Sheridan Wheeler from the 20th-place 2023 NCAA Championships team.
